Sam Crump, candidate for Arizona’s 3rd Congressional district, forcefully rejects what he calls “the fallacy that is the Democratic healthcare reform bill. Congressional Democrats and the Obama Administration are using a ‘clear as mud’ message to hijack one-sixth of America’s economy,” according to Crump.
“The bill is a farce! It’s a masquerade posing as good public policy. I call on all of my opponents in this race to separate themselves from the Washington establishment and immediately reject this health care proposal.”
Crump went on to say that, “A proposal this large that impacts all Americans at every level must be inclusive and not exclusive to the benefit of one entity only: The federal government. The more that Washington wants this, the more they want to shove it down our throats! This bill will do nothing to transform medical delivery in our state and only ensure that taxes will be raised to feed the government coffers.
“I firmly believe Americans want healthcare reform.” Crump states. “The administration and Congressional leadership dismiss alternatives or make token gestures of ‘consideration’. For example, we need tort reform to end frivolous lawsuits and competition by insurance companies across state lines. These two concepts alone will almost immediately bring down current costs of healthcare nationwide. They can be enacted quickly and without raising taxes now, or in the future.”
