Sam Crump was elected to the Arizona House of Representatives from District 6 in 2006 and re-elected in 2008. He served on the following committees:
- Government Committee, Chairman
- Military & Public Affairs Committee
- Transportation & Infrastructure Committee
- K-12 Education
Sam lives in Anthem, Arizona with his wife, Colleen, and their four children. He is an attorney and partner in the law firm Boates & Crump. Sam began his career as a captain in the U.S. Army JAG Corps, where he was a prosecutor.
Sam is an active volunteer in the community. He was the charter president of the Anthem Rotary Club. He is the founder of an orphanage in Uganda where he has traveled many times. He serves on the Board of Hope 4 Kids International and is a member of the American Legion. Sam and his family attend St. Rose Catholic Church, where Sam is a member of the Knights of Columbus.
In 2000, Sam was an alternate delegate to the Republican National Convention. He served as area chairman for President Bush’s 2000 presidential election. Sam graduated from the University of San Francisco with a degree in government and a masters in public administration. Sam received his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law.
