Former Senator Fred Thompson (R-TN) has endorsed former State Representative Sam Crump (R-AZ) in his campaign to represent Arizona’s Third Congressional District and praised his conservative voting record.

“It is with great enthusiasm that I announce my support for J.D. Hayworth in his race for the U.S. Senate,” Crump stated. “J.D. is our best chance to rein-in federal spending and restore fiscal conservative leadership in Washington–our only shot at revitalizing our economy and creating new jobs. He’ll fight for faith, family and freedom and get the federal government off our backs.”
President Obama presented his annual budget proposal recently, which contains $3.7 trillion in spending. Of that amount, $1.6 trillion is unfunded. This means it is going on Uncle Sam’s credit card. The problem with that is the credit card, also known as the national debt, already has a balance of $14 trillion.
